Lloyd Lalande

As well as maintaining a private practice, Lloyd works at the Australian Catholic University (Brisbane) as a lecturer and course coordinator for the Masters of Counselling program in the School of Psychology.

Lloyd has extensive experience in healing the psychological wounds resulting from early childhood trauma. Along with regular approaches to therapy, Lloyd is also highly experienced in the use of breathwork as a powerful approach to healing and transformation. Lloyd also has a strong ongoing interest in relationship dynamics and couples therapy. He is the author of What Do I Really Want? A guide to personal happiness, which has been translated into Korean. This book explores the effect of childhood experience on the development of self-esteem and authentic self-expression in adult life.

Lloyd's qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychology from Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate Certificate of Mental Health (Psychotherapy) from the University of Queensland, School of Medicine, and Lloyd is now completing a PhD focusing on research into Breathwork as a treatment for depression and anxiety.
